featured content design?

Hi, this i completely new for me and I have a huge problem to typeset the text in "Featured content". All text are aligned center and with no possibility to do space, blank line, indention or bullets. It did not look centered in te theme preview, and I have copy and paste the text I want from Word into featured content, with a bad result - please help me?!
