Feature Slider and others things not working in Clean Business Pro

Hello, I was building my website using the free Clean Business theme, but found I really wanted to have more control over my fonts, colors, and where my widgets appear, so I purchased the PRO version. After doing so, the Feature Slider stopped working. I had it set on my homepage to slide through the different pages on my website, and it was all working fine in the free version, but as soon as I went with the pro version, the area where the featured pictures should be displayed was just black - no picture, no text, no button. I tried re-adding the featured images on my pages, but that didn't work. If I switch back to the free version, it's all there and working fine. Please help! Also, I really really really dislike the red color that was the default hover and button color on the Clean Business theme. This is one of the reasons I went with the pro version. I have changed that color in all of the color option areas and find that it is still the hover color on the main menu and on the social media icons.
