favicon in devices

Hello, I see your Catch Themes favicon shows in mobile devices. Can you tell me how that's done, please? Appearance > Customize > Site Identity > Site Icon method works fine for desktop computer but not for other devices. Same with putting a favico.ico in the root directory. Thanks.
