Failing mobile-friendly test

Hi, This site has been up for awhile, but I am now getting an error message from Yost that the homepahe cannot be indexed by search engines. I am directed to google's mobile-friendly test and it fails because— 1) the clickable elements are too close together. This appears to be in reference to the navigation. 2) the content is wider than the screen. I tried switching it from No Sidebar (Content Width) to No Sidebar (Full Width) and it didn't make a difference. The site is https://bettersmarterricher.com It is important that this be fixed. What do I need to change?
