Events

Hi soz, I know I'm a muppet, but I'm struggling with the process of adding EVENTS. It's not going well. I have read lots and lots of questions about it on here but still can't make it work. I was hoping there would be an option to add an EVENT in the drop down option i.e. Page, Post etc I also read on here that you create a page and choose the EVENT template. I don't have an EVENT template option (I have Euphony PRO). I just want a page with live dates that is also summarised on the home page. Any help would be awesome.
