Event Calendar Integration

hi,   In would like to use the events block from the Eophony Blocks Pro theme to automatically display events from a (free) plugin like TheEventsCalendar. How can I build a loop that accesses event date (rather than creation date) and time, place etc.? Filtering events by project, past and future etc would also be desirable. Thank you for your help!
