"Essential content types pluggin" Services linking to Posts

Hi, I would really like to use the services feature that comes with the recommended "Essential content types pluggin". I had high hopes that the services would direct the user to a page but rather it directs to a post page which isn't very functional. Any way to point to a specific page.
