Enable Latest Posts Does Not Work

When I go to Customize-Homepage Settings-Homepage/Frontpage Settings and check "Check to Enable Latest Posts and select the Homepage Post Categories I want to use nothing happens. Literally, nothing changes on my page. Maybe I am wrong, but I thought this would bring up a new content section featuring latest posts. I did figure out how to feature latest posts in the Featured Slider, but that is not ideal. Any help figuring this out is appreciated. Here is my website for reference.
