Empty space on side of featured post slider

I can't seem to figure out how to make the featured image on the front page featured post slider stretch to the same width as the menu. When I first installed the theme, it was working fine, but for some reason (probably my fault), now there is white space on either side of the sliding image. http://fluoridefreemaine.com Thank you!
