Edit link of post slider elements

Hi, I have create a post slider connect to private posts. I would like to remove the permalink from these title, cause they lead to the " oops! that page can't be found". Probably because the posts are private. So, what if I remove the permalink from the post slider? Is it possible just for those post? Thank you
