duplicate widgets

I'm using catchbox on my site nlft.org I wanted the site to render on iphone the same as website, so I created a child theme, copied header.php and removed the line <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1" /> I saw that suggestion to disable responsive on another post. Now the site looks similar on the iphone, but my widgets show up twice, once on the left side where they belong, and again at the bottom before the footers. Any ideas?
