Does Foodie World support child theme CSS?

I created a child theme for a number of reasons. So far PHP file changes work but my changes to style.css do not. It seems the only way to make CSS changes is in the theme customizer. I really prefer to make them in a separate style.css for ease of organization. I am enqueueing the css files in functions.php of the child theme. I am developing on a local machine right now. Please advise. Thank you. Tim
