Distance between blocks

When using a paragraph block and the line of text goes past the end of the box or you click enter to start a new line of text but in the same sentence, the distance between lines is way too much, Am wondering how to reduce the space between lines. Right now the space is about three lines and needs to be one or two at the most. I have looked  and looked at how to reduce this but cant find the solution so far.
