Displaying incorrectly on Internet Explorer 8

I am using catch box 2.4 and latest version of firefox and all is displaying properly but in IE8, the white border surrounding the header image is extended across the entire width of the page and should not be. My site is www.formulaforpeace.com - please advise on a fix. Thank you, Ken
