Display Widgets in Sidebar on Image/Media Page

Hi, I have some printable resources that are image files. I have them inserted into a post via a gallery. When I click on the gallery image, it takes me to the the media/image page. All good so far. But when I view the media/image/attachment, it shows a blank space for the sidebar but no widgets are showing up in it. What can I do to display the widgets in the sidebar for image/media file attachments? Thanks. :)
