Display full blog posts on home page

When I set the home page to display the blog feed it's only showing the featured image as a thumbnail on the right. I'm hoping there are some CSS codes I can enter into the Custom CSS section so the featured image is displayed full size above the post. Also I want the full post to show up instead of just the excerpt. Please advise. Thank you
