Different Header Image based on screen size?

I'd like to display a different header images on a mobile devices vs desktop. Is that possible? Additionally, how and I turn off social media icons/search box mobile devices? I previous had some custom CSS that turn on the search box but removing that code doesn't appear to change anything. Thanks!
