Different Excerpt Settings for Category Archives and Main Blog Posts

Hi. I am using Catch Evolution Pro and have scoured this board for an answer to this question but haven't yet found one. Is there an "easy" way to make it so that my category archived posts show up in "excerpt" mode and my "live" or "blog-page" posts are shown in full content display mode? Thank you for your time.
