Date language in the “story” section

Hello! Is there a way to change the language of the months that show up in each entry of the "Story" section? Currently, month names are in English. I would like them to be in another language like Italian, or just as numbers. So, instead of "20 June, 2017" I would like to have "20 giugno 2017" or "20 - 06 - 2017". Thanks! Paolo
