Customizing Post Pages

Hello! I am using categories to 'split' my blog into two different sections and was wondering if there is a way to remove the "Posted in (Category Name)" text from below a post so that the fact that I am using categories is nearly invisible. You can see that I have added test posts in the two sections (press & blog) and how the post is currently showing the 'Posted in (Category Name)'. Also, if possible, I would also like to remove the date that the post was published and the author information from the main posts page but keep it on the detailed post page (when you click on the post title).
