Custom Text between Slider and first Post

Hello, I created a Child Theme and I want to place a Text like "News" between Featured Slider and first Post below. I have taken a look into contents.php but there are many if requests and I have to admit that I'm not that familiar with PHP. Is it possible to place a Text at that position? thanks in advance Finn
