Custom Header Image for Logo

Hi all, I'm using this lovely theme for a site for my running club and I was wondering if you can change the size of the "Custom Header Image for Logo". It is just a bit too big. I would like it to be about 1600x200. Is it possible to do this? Thanks Also how can I make the boxes the contain the content "posts" wider so as to fill more of the page? Thanks les
