CSS coding show not result

Hi, Using responses to questions asked by other members of this forum, I've tried solving some of my own issues in regards to my blog, using namely some CSS coding. However, no matter what I enter as the code, nothing is modified afterwards... Using Appearances / Theme Option / CSS, no result. Using the Appearances / Modify CSS function (perhaps activated by Jetpack), no result either... Just to let you know, I'm using Wordpress 4.0.1 in the french version. laqueebecoise.besaba.com Thanks in advance for the help. Anick
