Create gray block entire width

On a page, how I can I get a grayish block that's the width of the entire browser? this works on the mainpage, but not on subpages. I used the block testimonals for testing, it shows the block but it's not browser wide. https://www.cloudt.it/over-ons/ on the main page www.cloudt.it it does work
