Content layout on homepage

Hello, I'd like my posts to display on the homepage as images with a few lines of introductory text, followed by a "click here" or "read more", which will open up the whole post. In 'Theme Options > Layout Options > Content Layout, I've selected 'Excerpt/Blog Display'. All of my posts also have featured images set. My blog URL is feastplaylove.me, can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance!
