Completely Removing “Testimonial” slider

I'm not using the Essential Widgets for the site I'm working on (www.credendamusic.com), but after deactivating the plugins I still see < * > on all of my pages. Where the asterisk represents a red ball. How can I remove that completely? None of those plugins are installed anymore. thanks David
