color of site title and tagline

Hi. I want to change the color of the site title and tagline, and make them bigger, but I can´t seem to make it work. Do you have any css-codes I can use? I have tried looking through old comments and using some of the codes I found, but unfortunatly I most be doing something wrong. Hope you can help me.
