code for Hiding words or white wording

Catch Everest Theme. Is there a way of 'hiding' or removing the page title showing at the bottom of the home page WITHOUT deleting the word HOME from the menu bar? For example: On my home page I have all my content and then randomly towards the bottom of the page is the word 'HOME" (being the page name). If I edit this page and delete the word 'home' out of the page name/menu then it deletes off the main menu bar which means there is no way of getting back to the home page. I hope this makes sense. :)
