Changing Slider Height Simple Catch Pro

I am using the simple catch pro theme with preferred page slider. It says the images should be 976 wide which is fine but I need the image to be taller than 300. I was thinking more of 500px high. I tried resizing the images and upload them but the image is still the same height of 300+ no matter what I make the height of the image. http://dawnanderson.org/test/
