Changes to Theme Options appear only to logged in users

Hello! I've just set up the free Adventurous theme for my blog (http://dropthetension.com/). I'm not going to use the slider or featured posts so I've disabled them all in Theme Options. This took effect if I'm viewing the post when I'm logged in to wordpress, but users from outside still see the standard slider (tigers etc.) What can I do to make my blog visitors see the changes to Theme Options? Thanks!
