Changed Column Width – Recommended size for Slider Images?

I used the method in the post below to change my column primary column to be 854 px wide. The theme instructions state the sider images should be 754x320. Would size would you recommend that I use with the increased width? 854x320? http://catchthemes.com/support-forum/topic/more-width-for-posts/
