CB options always in the mid of an TinyMCE edit page – not on botton

Since the not so new TinyMCE Advanced Editor I got the problem, that the catch base options shown in editor mode are in the mid of the page and not longer on the Bottom. I mean the options for layout / header picture which is displayed as an overlay. That means I cannot edit the text on the colums behind these options. I got this problem since the TinyMCE changed to the new design. This is months ago but I am tired now to use the HTML Display to do a Workaround. Is there any option to change this behavior?
