Catchbase Pro Update to 3.8

I've just downloaded the file 3.8 to update my existing installation on www.stichel-online.de. After reading your installation instructions through the Update plugin i'm hesitating to do so since my installation will be overwritten. Since i spent a lot of time to get it as it is i wonder if all settings and the whole layout will be saved and i do not have to start the configuration from the beginning after the update to 3.8.
