Catch Updater – Wordfence saying plugin has been abandoned

WOrdfence saying : The Plugin "Catch Updater" appears to be abandoned (updated February 27, 2018, tested to WP 4.9.4). Type: Plugin Abandoned Please advise. Is Catch Updater still required?
