Catch Resp. Pro: No HTML in Promotion Headline

Hi, there are several articles about "No HTML in Protomotion Headline". But... Once using "Featured Category Content" HTML tags like </br> are possible, when using "Content Featured Widghet" unfortunately it is not. Is it possible to set the promo Headline via CSS with HTML tags? Appreciate any help. Regards, Knut
