Catch Infinite Scroll not working as in free demo?

The free demo displays a "load more" button for News items. I thought by installing Catch Infinite Scroll plugin I'd get that button, too. Instead, I get an "older posts" button that points to a carbon copy of the front page, requiring me to scroll down to access the second page of News. I have Jetpack installed so I can offer subscriptions, but I'm not using the Jetpack infinite scroll option. What am I doing wrong? Thank you. See under-construction website here.
