Catch Everest function.php for child theme

Hello, I'm new in wordpress development. I'm using catch everest free theme for my site. I have already created the child theme with style.css successfully, but now I need to change some logic in Social icons alignments. As I noticed they are in catcheverest-functions.php file. Can you provide a guide how to make an overridden file of this function for my child theme? I don't want to change anything in parent php files. Thanks.
