can't remove widget from right side of header

I placed the POWr weather widget on my site, but didn't like how it appeared so I deactivated it purged the cache and there still seems to have a empty white box on the RIGHT next to my tag line which is usually centered with my social icons. now they appear on the left and I can't seem to figure out how to get rid of it. any suggestions?
