Can't create a footer menu

Hi Folks, I'm editing this Catch Flames Pro for client. I did not created the website, I'm just taking over. IN the menu section I can't see the option to assing a new menu to the footer. Other issue is that in the widgdet are I see three widgets for the footer. But If I put there anything which is text or menu or an image, it wont show up. Any advice please?
