Cannot delete parts of the homepage

Hi, we used the free simple persona theme to create our website, however we wanted a few more options such as changing colours etc and purchased the pro version, when we loaded the pro theme into Wordpress it added Elementor and some new items to our homepage such as a portfolio and events etc which we did not want. We cannot delete these added elements as its a pro version of elementor, how can we delete these without purchasing elementor pro. Also how do you not receive tech support when you purchase a pro theme? Thanks,
