Cannot change header image

In the customizer I select heaeder image / add new image The media library pospup and I select a image Then I click on the button select (bottom right) I get a complete blank page and thats it. Please can anyone help me with this. A fwew years ago there was no problem in setting the header image Thanks Hans Huisman http://vankessellive.nl
