Can you edit Patterns?

Hello, I'm just getting started with BizBoost Pro. I see that I can edit Templates but can't seem to edit Patterns on a global scale. They say "Not Synced" next to them and I can't click to edit them. Is this intentional? Are Patterns just not allowed to be edited on a global scale? I know I can edit the Blocks inside of the Patterns...just curious if I can edit the Patterns globally.
