Broken Theme

The more I use this theme, the more broken it is. Site is SUPER slow. The main cause is the Slider. Seems I can not specify an expiration date on the 4 photos in the slider. Or the Background image, or the loader icon. No Cache program will work. GTMatrix gives me an F for Leverage browser caching.
