Blogging

I have posts from a wordpress.com theme I am trying to transfer from wordpress. I am having a few issues. 1. For some reason, the comments are not displaying, and I approved them all. 2. Does this theme come with a blogging add on or do I need to download a widget, add on, or somemthing elst. I downloaded the "blog designer" but it is pretty limited and I was wondering if there was an easier way...
