Blog posts don't show when published

Hi, My blog posts don't show on my site when published unless I make them 'featured' or 'fastened to the front page' (I don't know what this function is called in the English version as I use Adventure Free Version in Danish Wordpress). Hope that someone can help me change this. Thanks!
