Blog post does not show on first page

Hi, I want my blog posts to appear beneath the featured content on my homepage, I have followed the theme instructions but nothing appears... My settings are: “Appearance => Theme Options => Homepage Settings => Homepage / Frontpage Settings” in WordPress Dashboard Next to “Enable Latest Post or Page?”, check the box that says “Check to Enable” Save Changes I have also made sure the box "latest posts" are marked instead of static page.
