Blog page (sidebar on right) not displaying

I have my blog page set to the template: Blog Page (sidebar on right) However it is not displaying published that way. Why is it not working? When I view that template type it looks beautiful. On my site it is just showing the default blog straight down the center of the page. Please help. I have tried to figure it out myself for weeks now.
