background image issue Free vs Pro theme

I tinkered a lot with the free Parallax Frame theme prior to purchase. In the free one the Background image affects the default "tunnel" image that appears just above the footer whereas in the Pro theme the tunnel stays and the background is overlaid behind the sections of the content, not the parallax background image. The Header image works the same in both though. Is this a defect in the Pro theme?
