Background color on older browsers

Hello, The background color on my website www.rashedlightsways.com looks nice on most modern browsers. On users with < Android 4.0, the background color of the text is bright green instead of white, making text and css colors illegible. It also seems some Firefox browsers display green background instead of white for body text. Any suggestions or advice for backwards comparability?
