Background color of Home button in primary menu

Hello, Ihave two questions: 1.: When I am adding a link to the Homepage in my primary menu (=home button), then this new menu structure gets a background color. But I don't want this. How can I get rid of this? 2.: I want to make the Homepage headline button smaller. Which css must I fill in? Thank you!
